We have curated our fabric from some of the finest mills in the world - linens from Belgium and United States, silks from India, wools and velvets from Italy.
Our fabrics are the genuine article, made of pure natural fibers. We avoid synthetic materials except for in small quantities to improve performance.
We work to ensure that our fabric comes from mills that do not use unethical practices like child labor or harmful chemical dyes.

+ Why Hand-Stitched?

When you see an item that claims to be "hand-sewn" it typical means that it has been machine-stitched by hand.
Our draperies are always hand-sewn and hand-stitched. This means that every thread is placed purposefully and intentionally.
Since hand-stitching is done by artisans, they know the fabric and it's attributes, allowing the threads to move and grow naturally with the draperies.
This method is the very same one used by professionals in the design industry and is made to hold up for many more years.

While Maison Lane is new to offering draperies, our staff has decades of experience with draperies and drapery hardware.
Our artisans are the same ones that have sewed draperies for high-end interior designers for years, honing their craft in fine homes.
We work directly with our sewing rooms to develop the process for each and every fabric, pleat, and drape to ensure the product you receive is perfect.
